Borderly Pro and purchases

Borderly's basic record remains accessible on the free plan. The app uses Apple's purchase flow with Adapty to load offers and confirm Pro access; there is no Borderly account setup.

Pro does not complete unfinished app functionality such as automatic location tracking, Calendar import, or the Face ID lock.

Open the offer and subscribe

1. Open You → Upgrade, or choose See Borderly Pro from a locked feature.
2. Wait for Finding your local prices… to finish.
3. Select an available plan and read the displayed billing period, price, renewal information, and any introductory offer.
4. Tap the selected plan's Continue button or Start free trial if a trial is offered.
5. Complete Apple's confirmation flow.

The configured product identifiers cover monthly and annual plans, but available prices and trial offers come from the live storefront. This guide does not promise a price or trial length. Read the final purchase sheet before confirming.

During checkout, purchase controls are disabled and the sheet cannot be dismissed interactively. A completed purchase unlocks Pro once access is confirmed. A canceled purchase leaves the existing plan unchanged. A pending purchase shows an approval message; the app is designed to update access when it receives the completed entitlement.

If prices are unavailable, use Try again. If Apple completed a purchase but Pro is still unconfirmed, the app suggests Restore purchases.

Restore an existing purchase

1. Open You.
2. Tap Restore purchases, or use Restore in the Pro offer sheet.
3. Wait for the result message.

The app reports Borderly Pro restored, No active Borderly Pro subscription was found, or a restore-failure message. Restore requires a working purchase service and the Apple account associated with the purchase. It does not restore travel records; use a Borderly backup for those.

Manage or cancel

With Pro active, You → Manage opens the Pro sheet. Its Manage subscription link opens Apple's subscription management page. Follow Apple's controls there to manage or cancel the subscription. Deleting Borderly data is not a subscription cancellation.

If Pro expires, the app limits active results to one counter in its catalog order and locks Pro-only screens and reports. Travel data, manual editing, and full backups remain available. You can remove extra enabled counters in the library and choose which one to keep.

Verification note

Purchase, pending-approval, renewal, cancellation, and restore logic were inspected in code. No live purchase or sandbox transaction was made for these guides. Pro screens shown elsewhere were rendered with a fictional sample model, not a verified subscription.
