Find your way around

Borderly has five bottom tabs. Most work starts in Today or Timeline; You holds settings and data controls.

TabWhat you can do
TodaySee today's saved country, open its evidence, view active counters, open country totals or passport dates, check permission status, and add travel.
TimelineSwitch between Trips, Days, and Map. Add trips, edit stays, split trips, correct days, confirm days, or delete records.
ReviewInspect uncertain proposals and resolve review items. Some actions do not update the actual day; read Review limitations.
PlanWith Pro, try a destination and dates against an active counter and a passport expiry date.
YouChange home country, inspect permissions, manage counters and Pro, save passports, export, restore, and erase.

Read the Today screen

The top card shows the saved record for the current day. If no record exists, it says No evidence for today yet and offers manual entry. A saved day is not proof that live tracking has run.

View the evidence opens the actual supporting signals, confidence, time zone, and any note or transit flag. The GPS, Time zone, and Visit labels on the Today card are fixed labels in this version; they do not establish that those signals exist for that day. Use the evidence sheet to check.

The review banner and bell button open Review. The bell is a shortcut to unresolved reviews, not a notification inbox.

Active counter cards open a detail page with the period, totals, uncertainty, calculation explanation, and links to rule details. If there are no active counters, use Choose a country or rule.

The remaining cards lead to Days by country, Passports, and permission controls. Scroll down for Add a trip manually and Rebuild travel from photos.

Understand the status labels

LabelWhat it means in this app
ManualA day or trip was entered or corrected by you.
LikelyA proposal has supporting evidence, such as apparently original photos, but has not been confirmed.
Needs ReviewThe proposal has a conflict or weaker evidence such as saved images.
VerifiedA day can receive this label when you explicitly confirm it in Timeline. It is not independent verification of your travel.

Confidence percentages are the app's evidence scores. They are not legal certainty or a guarantee of location.

Uncertain does not mean excluded

Likely and Needs Review days can contribute to numerical counter totals. Counters flag uncertainty and can show Insufficient history. The country-total screen also includes Needs Review days while labeling them uncertain. Correct the underlying day before relying on a result.
