Review and correct days

Review lets you inspect uncertain proposals. To make a reliable change to a recorded country or status in this version, use Timeline → Days.

Inspect a proposal

  1. Open Review, or tap the review banner or bell in Today.
  2. Read the proposal's date, suggested country, and explanation.
  3. Tap Show evidence to expand the supporting and conflicting signals. Tap Hide evidence to collapse them.
  4. Before accepting the result, compare it with the actual day in Timeline → Days.

When there are no unresolved items, Review says Your record is clear. This means the review queue is empty; it does not guarantee that the history is complete or that every day is confirmed.

What the Review actions actually do

ActionCurrent behavior
ConfirmMarks the review item resolved and removes it from the queue. It does not confirm or change the underlying travel day.
Choose another countryResolves the item but does not open a country picker or change the day. Use Timeline to correct it.
Reject proposalResolves the item but does not delete a day already added to the record.
Mark as airport transitResolves the item and marks the first matching day at the proposal's start date as Manual and transit. Check the actual day afterwards.
Merge with adjacent trip / Apply to similar daysVisible menu items with no implemented action.

For bulk review, tap Select, select items, and use Confirm … selected. This resolves the selected queue items; it has the same underlying-day limitation as single Confirm. Done exits selection mode.

Undo briefly reopens the most recently resolved review item. It does not undo a transit flag applied to the day. After a bulk confirmation, it only reopens the last processed item, not the entire batch.

Confirm a recorded day

  1. Open Timeline → Days.
  2. Swipe a day toward the right to expose the leading Confirm action. It is available for days not already Verified.
  3. Tap Confirm after checking the country and date.

The day becomes Verified, its confidence is set to 100%, and Confirmed by you is added to the evidence. Matching review items are resolved. Counters recalculate using the updated status. This is the implemented way to confirm a Likely photo day.

Correct the country, city, or transit status

  1. In Timeline → Days, tap a day, or swipe it and choose Edit.
  2. Choose the correct country and optional city.
  3. Turn Airport transit only on or off as appropriate.
  4. Optionally add a note explaining the correction.
  5. Tap Save.

The date itself is not editable here. The day becomes Manual, the change is appended to its evidence, and matching review items are resolved. A day correction does not update its parent trip's country, dates, city, or map position.

Inspect a day's evidence

For today's saved day, use Today → View the evidence. The sheet lists evidence types, descriptions, individual strengths, overall confidence, time zone, how the day was generated, transit status, and your note if present. Correct this day opens the correction form for saved records.

To remove a wrong day entirely, use its Delete action and confirmation, then inspect any remaining trip summary. See deletion and undo.
